The TestTrack course design features allow you to quickly construct a course
and facilitate collaboration between team members.
Encourages the practice of accepted
instructional design principles. TestTrack's structure and features
were developed with an eye to sound instructional design principles. It truly
understands the relationship between course design, objectives, content, test
questions, and remediation, helping you to create effective courses.
Adaptable, hierarchical course structure. You can define up
to three levels of course units- Modules, Chapters, and Lessons- using a mixture
of levels within a given course. Screens can be added to any of these units.
Time-saving pre-built screen types. You can create screens
with straight text, lists for objectives and summaries, and test questions using
one of the several pre-built screen types, including: Basic, List, Single
Answer, Variable Answer, Matching, and Text Answer. The pre-built screen types
serve to speed development time, as well as increase the interactivity and
content retention for students.
An assortment of presentation options. Use image maps to
launch an animation. Include pop-ups to display additional information or
relevant links. Embed review questions and include feedback on answers.
Objectives-based testing. Test questions are structured
around an "objectives" model. You can create objectives for each unit, then
assign test questions relevant to each objective. In this way, you can check for
mastery of any unit or the entire course. A pool of test questions can be
assigned randomly so that students don't see the same ones when repeating a
test.
Access from anywhere. Because the tools are web-based,
instructional designers, subject matter experts, and reviewers can have access
to TestTrack from any Internet connection.
